Welcome to the final Conference on

Trustworthy Manufacturing and

Utilization of Secure Devices

14-16 November, UPC-BarcelonaTech (Spain)

General information

Security is becoming increasingly important for many embedded systems applications ranging from small RFID tags to satellites orbiting the earth. Public services, communication, control and healthcare
continue to grow and need to have secure applications; however hardware devices that implement cryptographic functions have become an Achille’s heel in the last decade.
The TRUDEVICE Conference will provide an environment for researchers from academic and industrial domains who want to discuss recent findings, theories and on-going work regarding all aspects of
hardware security including design, manufacturing, testing, reliability, validation and utilization.

This edition will be held in Barcelona (Spain) and is organized by the QINE (Quality IN Electronics Research Group) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

The topics of the conference include but are not limited to:

  • Manufacturing test of secure devices
  • Trustworthy manufacturing
  • PUFs and TRNGs
  • Hardware Trojans in IPs and ICs
  • Reverse engineering counter-measures
  • Fault attack injection, detection and protection
  • Reconfigurable devices for secure functions
  • Detection of malicious components
  • Validation and evaluation
